Current accounts – UBB opens accounts for storage of its business clients’ funds, payable on demand without any advance notice.
To open a current account, please, visit the nearest branch of the Bank.
You have access to the funds in your account:
- through any stated by you branch of the Bank, irrespective of the one where the account was opened, during the Bank’s business hours;
- via UBB’s U-Online system for Internet banking, providing you with worldwide access to your account, 24/7.
Retention accounts – UBB opens accounts for storage of funds, provided for registering a legal entity;
Liquidation accounts – UBB opens accounts for storage of funds of entities, undergoing liquidation;
Special-purpose accounts - UBB opens accounts for storage of funds of entities, against which there are initiated bankruptcy proceedings;
Accounts of State Budget spending entities - UBB opens accounts for storage of funds of State Budget spending entities, as well as of other State Budget entities, extrabudgetary accounts and funds, included in the consolidated fiscal program;
ESCROW accounts - UBB opens special-purpose accounts for storage of funds, which utilization is subject to certain preliminary agreed terms between the parties. Parties to the agreement are the Bank, the Account Holder - Beneficiary and a third party – Lender;
Accounts for funds of clients of private enforcement agents, insurance brokers and agents, lawyers and public notaries - UBB opens accounts for storage of funds, in accordance with the Bulgarian legislation.
Accounts' movement and balances, account statements
Via the U-Оnline system for Internet banking the information on accounts’ movements and balances is accessible in real time and may be exported in files of .txt and .xml formats.
Statements are available in one of the following formats:
- On paper;
- Electronic statement received via e-mail;
- SWIFT message - MT940
- Structured electronic statement - a service for automatic generation of electronic statements of a business client's current account movements and the statement's automatic submission to the client via a direct communication channel at predefined time intervals.
UBB opens current accounts in Bulgarian leva (BGN), as well as in the following foreign currencies: euro (EUR), United States dollar (USD), British pound (GBP), Swiss franc (CHF), Japanese yen (JPY), Swedish krona (SEK), Turkish lira (TRY), Canadian dollar (CAD), Australian dollar (AUD), New Zealand dollar (NZD), Norwegian krone (NOK) and Danish krone (DKK).
