UBB places a special emphasis on digital security and digital financial literacy among young people in its initiatives, linked to the celebration of the 2026 European Money Week.

Christof De Mil, Country Manager of KBC Group in Bulgaria and Chief Executive Officer of UBB, presented his vision about the role of technologies and innovations and their application in the field of banking during the BANCEE25 – 4th Annual Banking CEE Expo international innovation forum.

On 21-st July there was a dedicated meeting held with representatives of the UBB management and with nearly 30 non-governmental organizations, universities, schools and institutions, during which KBC Group in Bulgaria presented their 2024 Report to Society and the new edition of the Choose to Help donor programme of UBB.

“ESG and energy efficiency in the real estates and construction sectors. Challenges and opportunities” were the topic of the last conference for Y2024 under the Sustainable Future project of 24 Chasa and UBB.

The Sustainability Academy platform for online training is now accessible in Bulgarian, Serbian and Croatian languages. Thus micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) from the three countries from Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) will have free-of-charge access to offered trainings in their native languages.
