United Bulgarian Bank (UBB), part of KBC Group, will continue accepting free-of-charge depositing of Bulgarian leva into the personal accounts of individuals by the end of 2025

The exchange of cash was pointed out as the biggest challenge, linked to the euro adoption in Bulgaria by Teodor Marinov, Chief Financial Officer at UBB. This happened during the first discussion panel, entitled - „Banks and the Eurozone – the final sprint“ of The Future of Money financial forum, organized by Manager magazine.

The event gathered the opinions of leading experts in the field of banking and finance, who discussed important topics, linked to the euro adoption, development of the banking system and of this country’s economy.

The tennis courts of the National Tennis Centre in Sofia gathered tennis lovers at the Sixth Edition of the UBB Tennis Tournament. One of the most awaited tennis contests for amateurs was held on Saturday, 25.10.2025, after having postponed its start twice, because of the bad weather.

UBB customers can now pay for parking in a blue or green zone directly through UBB Mobile. The new service has been developed by the National Card and Payment Scheme, part of BORICA, and is available to all users of UBB Mobile.
