Dear Partners,
In connection with the forthcoming changeover to the new national currency, we would like to inform you that as of 01.01.2026 there will be no technical possibility to process refunds of cardholder transactions made via POS terminal in BGN.
In order to provide timely and correct service, it is necessary to submit all refund requests (according to the attached bank application) to the Bank by 23.12.2025 inclusive.
After this date UBB will not have the technical possibility to process incoming requests in BGN currency.
We thank you for your cooperation and engagement in this process and apologize for any inconvenience.
Please take the necessary internal actions to ensure timely submission of applications.
