On May 30, 2005 the Municipality of Svilengrad issued their first unsecured bond issues, with nominal value of BGN 2 mln. Lead Manager of the issue is Raiffeisenbank (Bulgaria) EAD. The maturity of the bond is 5 years and pays out a semi-annual coupon of 7.00 per cent p.a. Initially the bond is launched through a private placement. The nominal value of a single bond is BGN 1000.
Since the beginning of 2004 Raiffeisenbank (Bulgaria) EAD successfully launched and structured 6 mortgage and bond issues as a Lead Manager, with total nominal value of EUR 32 mln., as in the first quarter of 2005 launched the bond issue of the Municipality of Shumen with nominal value of BGN 4 mln and 5 years maturity.
