UBB Reminds Customers of Increasing Phone Fraud Attempts

Dear Clients,
We would like to remind you of the increasing number of fraud attempts carried out via phone calls.
We urge you to exercise caution when receiving calls from unknown numbers, in which individuals or automated messages present themselves as bank employees and inform you of a potential issue with your payments, accounts, cards, or online/mobile banking services.
Such calls are intended to create a sense of urgency or risk and to prompt you to disclose personal information or take immediate action.
Please be reminded that:
- UBB will never request usernames, passwords, verification codes, credit/debit card details, or any other sensitive information over the phone.
- All official communication channels of UBB are publicly disclosed on UBB’s corporate website. There are no alternative, derivative, or unofficial telephone lines representing the Bank.
If you receive such calls, we recommend that you report them to the relevant law enforcement authorities.
