Hydrolia, InaEssentials and Top Rent-a-Car are this year’s winners of the special awards of UBB for green policies and sustainability. For a consecutive year United Bulgarian Bank (UBB), part of KBC Group in Bulgaria, is a partner to the Greenest Companies competition, organized by b2b Media. The Bank, which is a leader in the field of sustainable development and green transformation of the Bulgarian economy, distinguishes companies that trigger respect with their achievements in this sphere. On UBB’s behave the prizes were announced and presented by Aleksandar Peev, General Manager Corporate and Social Responsibility at KBC Group in Bulgaria.

In the Sustainable Solutions for Businesses category Hydrolia AD company became winner of the special UBB award, distinguished for its contribution to a more efficient, responsible and sustainable business. This company transforms the way in which the industry manages their water resources, by introducing innovative and effective solutions for optimization, re-use and sustainable management of water. The prize in the Sustainable Model for Responsible Production category was deservedly won by InaEssentials – a company that builds an overall sustainable business model, inherent in every step of the way – from the cultivation of organic raw materials to the creation of an end product with high added value. Through its activity the company demonstrates in practice how by combining care for nature, support for local communities and transparent production one can create a Bulgarian brand that is being successfully received and is constantly growing its markets in Europe and around the world.

Winner of the prize in the Responsible Approach to Mobility category is Top Rent-a-Car company, having substantial contribution to the development of a modern, sustainable and customer-oriented mobility in Bulgaria. The company has a modern vehicle fleet and offers high quality of service and consistent investments in more sustainable transport solutions. It develops accessible and effective services with nation-wide coverage, and along with that introduces innovations, renews its vehicle fleet and promotes a more responsible approach to mobility.

The Green Oscars award ceremony was held on 14.05.2026 at Intercontinental Hotel in Sofia city. The Greenest Companies competition in Bulgaria is being organized for a 16th consecutive year by b2b Media.
