Marius Kurkinski will be awarded UBB’s special prize at the Apollonia event
10 August 2015
The actor and director Marius Kurkinski will receive UBB’s special prize at this year’s edition of Apollonia Festival of Arts.
He has been selected winner of the special prize for his contribution to the Bulgarian culture and arts at the Bank’s official page in Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/UnitedBulgarianBank) after a 7-day intense voting. Winning by 159 votes the talented Bulgarian artist has been nominated by the social network users as the next-in-line laureate of UBB’s award, lining up with prize-winners to date: Antoni Donchev, Angel Zaberski Jr., Kamen Kalev, Silvia Choleva, Evgeniy Yonov, Beloslava, Kamen Donev and Zhivko Petrov.
UBB’s prize is the second most significant distinction, given during the Festival (traditionally held for 31 years already in Sozopol town) and ranking after the Toxophoros Apollo statuette, awarded by Apollonia organizers. The bestowing of UBB’s special prize stands part of the Bank’s long-term partnership with the Arts Festival, further information about which is available here.
