The new service is intended for people seeking a home of their own and tentative information about its energy efficiency, and also for all users, who with the help of the calculator will be informed of potential solutions for improving the energy efficiency of their homes and will learn more about the optimization of costs.

After entry of main data, linked to the type of housing, construction type, used materials, electric appliances, window and door frames, insulation etc. the calculator visualizes tentative costs and makes recommendations for improvement*. The calculator users can learn more about the fact of how habits impact the consumption of electricity and how those factors can be considered during cost planning. The energy calculator is the first instrument of its kind on the banking market in Bulgaria. It was created to help clients navigate easier through the various alternatives for improving their energy efficiency at home. The instrument offers practical information, which can be useful for planning future investments. It is part of the Bank’s ambition to provide solutions which facilitate daily choices of customers, including such in the sustainable energy management and the sustainable development domains.
