UBB won recognition as the Best Digital Bank in Bulgaria and the Best Bank in the ESG domain for Y2024 at the annual awards for exceptional achievements (Euromoney Awards for Excellence), organized by the high-rated British magazine Euromoney.

The event was held on 30 May 2024, in Sofia Tech Park, involving representatives of EFRAG, the Faculty of Economics at Sofia University, IDES, the Bulgarian Industrial Association, UBB, Devin, Shelly Group, Billboard and others with their viewpoints, exposes and presentations.

Peter Roebben, Chairman of the Country Team of KBC Group in Bulgaria and Chief Executive Officer of UBB, was awarded the Business Personality of the Year award.

United Bulgarian Bank, part of the Belgian financial group KBC, welcomed entrepreneurs and business angels from the CEO Angels Club at a dedicated event. Three start-up companies, which focus on a sustainable business model, presented their ideas.
