Mеssage to the investors in Optimum Fund Enhanced Intelligence Global Allocation

date

27 May 2025

Optimum Fund

Public investment company with variable capital under Belgian law opting for investments that meet the conditions of Directive 2009/65/EC – UCITS

Havenlaan 2, 1080 Brussels

Notice to shareholders

We would like to inform you that the prospectus and key information document of the Enhanced Intelligence Global Allocation  sub-fund of Optimum Fund will be amended on the 27th of June 2025.

On the aforementioned date, the investment policy will change. From now on, the sub-fund will pursue responsible investment objectives based on a two-step approach: a negative screening and a positive selection methodology. The negative screening means that the sub-fund may not invest in assets of issuers that are excluded on the basis of exclusion criteria (e.g. tobacco, gambling activities and weapons). More information about the exclusion policy can be found on www.kbc.be/documentatie-beleggen > Exclusion policy for funds that invest responsibly. The positive selection methodology involves a combination of portfolio objectives and support for sustainable development. Portfolio objectives are based on a reduction in greenhouse gas intensity and an improvement in ESG characteristics (where ESG stands for 'Environmental, Social, Governance') compared to the benchmark. Sustainable development is supported by investing in bonds to finance green and/or social projects and in issuers that contribute to the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. More information on the positive selection methodology and the concrete objectives at compartment level can be found at www.kbc.be/documentatie-beleggen > Investment policy for responsible investment funds.

In the context of the above, the name of the sub-fund 'Enhanced Intelligence Global Allocation' will change to 'Enhanced Intelligence Global Allocation Responsible Investing'.

Participants who do not accept these changes can request the free repurchase (subject to any taxes) of their units from 27 May 2025 to 26 June 2025 (before 06:00 CET) via the counters of the institutions providing the financial service, in particular KBC BANK NV, in Bulgaria UBB AD.

The amended Prospectus, the key information document and the most recent financial reports will be available free of charge at the counters of the institutions providing the financial service, or on www.kbc.be, in Dutch and English, among others.
