New functionality in UBB Mobile enables users’ search for a new home via the mobile app

During 2020, as a result of the accelerated digitalization of the core banking and insurance processes, UBB provided its users with series of services, making their daily lives easier and, not of lesser importance – restricting their contacts with other people and visits to banking and insurance branches.

The most recent of those, „Find a new home“, enables them to easily and quickly establish a mobile link with the website ubbforhome.bg via the UBB Mobile app. It displays information about the property’s maximum price, which the client can afford, based on mortgage loans and self-participation, as well as the maximum tenor for loan repayment - criteria, pre-set by users.

The UBB For Home platform provides information about characteristic features of the chosen micro district, as well as data about the population density and its demographic profile. It describes what kind of schools, parks, transport lines are there in the residential district, how many ATMs, fitness halls, food stores, pharmacies etc. In addition, several indices also assess air quality.

Via the ubbforhome.bg platform users can also make an appointment for a visit at a UBB branch, where they will also receive a personalized report with particular properties, which correspond to the set budget and search criteria, supplemented with their actual market price.

This is yet another upgrade of the digitalized processes, integrated in the mobile app UBB Mobile. Earlier this month among the fully digital solutions, added by UBB into the mobile app, there was one, targeting a special audience – young people. The Full Access programme enables young people aged up to 25 to become clients of UBB via the mobile app, without visiting a branch of the Bank.

Some of the other functionalities of the app are the frequently used „Transaction Filter“, allowing users to sort their transactions by accounts, as well as export their card and account movements in PDF format; „Currency Conversion“ - providing an opportunity upon effecting of fund transfers involving currency conversion to obtain FX rate, transfer charges and total amount information, as well as the „Payment’s Future Value Date“. This functionality enables individuals and business clients to effect future value date payments for a wide range of fund transfer types. To make it easier for mobile app users there is also a new button embedded: „What’s new in UBB Mobile“. Through this functionality you can easily track in one place the changes in the app’s recent version.

All already known and familiar features of UBB Mobile remain the app’s key advantages. Among those are the opportunity to apply for a consumer loan up to BGN 35 000 fully online; online payments in Bulgarian leva and foreign currencies with a fingerprint for enhanced security (or face recognition) between own accounts, to third persons/entities, to the State Budget; monitoring of account balances and movements, filtering, based on own criteria; applying for a debit and credit card; deposit opening; blocking and activating cards in real time; deferral of credit card purchases into 3, 6, 9 and 12 installments; registration and free-of-charge payment of utility bills; pre-approved consumer loan mOBBi as a standing offer, available in case of need; conclusion of a Travel Abroad Insurance policy.
