CEZ Trade Bulgaria, the largest trader on the free market in Bulgaria, sells green energy to the Bulgarian companies of KBC Group. In 2018, the companies United Bulgarian Bank AD and DZI - General Insurance JSC and DZI - Life Insurance JSC, part of the largest financial group in Bulgaria - KBC Group, added yet another measure through which to improve their environmental management system, namely the purchase of green energy produced from renewable energy sources. Thanks to the purposeful implementation of this policy so far, the Group will contribute to the reduction of the environmental footprint of its daily operations, which is equivalent to 8 500 tonnes of carbon emissions less.
