UBB and UBB Interlease support agricultural producers at this year’s edition of BATA AGRO, too

The consecutive edition of the International Specialized Exhibition of the Bulgarian Association of Agricultural Equipment Traders - BATA AGRO - was held from 14th until 16th May in Stara Zagora town. It gathers in one place leading technology brands and key representatives of the agricultural sector in Bulgaria. Over the recent years the companies, participating in BATA AGRO are more than 200, as nearly 20 000 people visit the exhibition.
UBB and UBB Interlease are traditional exhibitors, as during the forum experts from the Bank and the leasing company also hold a series of meetings with representatives of leading companies from the industry, provide financial consultations, inform about European programmes and flexible, personalized solutions for the agri businesses and agriculture. Until 16th May all producers and traders in the sector can visit stand 6-3 of UBB and UBB Interlease and get acquainted with the preferential financial proposals of the entities from the biggest banking and insurance group in Bulgaria.
UBB deems the agricultural sector an extremely important one for Bulgaria’s economy and for the sustainable development domain. The Bank has developed and positioned on its website the first of its kind digital agri calculator in Bulgaria for calculating carbon emissions. The innovative service enables all agricultural producers, customers and non-customers of UBB, in just a few easy steps to make a free-of-charge calculation of their farms’ carbon footprint – namely, the greenhouse gases from their activity, in carbon dioxide (CO2) equivalent.
The Bulgarian Association of Agricultural Equipment Traders - BATA AGRO – which is the exhibition organizer, is a non-governmental industry organization, established in 2005. It is a union of companies, authorized by leading global manufacturers of agricultural equipment to import and distribute self-propelled and trailing agricultural equipment on the Republic of Bulgaria’s territory.
