Today, 18 February 2013, at an extraordinary General Meeting of UBB Shareholders new members of the Bank’s Board of Directors – Mr. Pavlos Mylonas and Mr. Panagiotis Karandreas - have been elected for a mandate of three years.

• PavlosMylonas– GeneralManagerofStrategyand International Activities, Chief Economist, Member of the Executive Committee of the Group of National Bank of Greece (NBG)

Mr. Pavlos Mylonas joined NBG Group in Y2000, where four years later he was appointed General Manager of Strategy and Research and Chief Economist of the Group. In December 2010 he took the position of General Manager Strategy and Governance, and in Y2012 he became responsible for Strategy and International Activities. Pavlos Mylonas is a member of the Executive Committee of NBG Group.

P. Mylonas holds a Bachelor Degree in Applied Mathematics – Economics (Magna cum Laude), he is a member of Phi Beta Kappa Society (the oldest honor society of the most outstanding students) from Brown University, as well as a holder of Master of Arts and a Ph.D. in Economics from Princeton University.

• Panagiotis Karandreas – Assistant Manager, International Activities Division, NBG Group

Mr. Panagiotis Karandreas joined NBG Group in Y2002 as a Head of Investor Relations and in Y2005 he became Head of Mergers and Acquisitions Department. Since May 2012 he is Assistant Manager of International Activities Division of NBG Group.

Panagiotis Karandreas holds a Bachelor Degree in Economics from University of Athens, an MBA from Manchester Business School and is a certified financial analyst of securities.
