New financial transactions over the phone!

In case you are a UBB account/card holder you can effect the following fund transfers only by dialing our Call Centre:

  • Transfers of funds between your own accounts
  • Transfers of funds in Bulgarian leva and foreign currency to other clients of UBB
  • Transfers of funds to a credit card, issued by UBB

In order to make a fund transfer over the phone you need to be a client of our Call Centre with prior registration. Then you need to dial either 0700 117 17 or *7171 and press button 1 for login into the Call Centre system. You need to enter your User Number and one-time password and you will be able to effect over-the-phone fund transfers, assisted by a Call Centre official.

How can you receive preferential service and perform a financial transaction over the phone?

All it takes is 3 steps

Step №1

Register yourself for using over-the-phone services at a branch of the bank or at 0700 117 17 or *7171. Upon registration you will be provided with a User Number and you will select a way for generating one-time passwords – through a U-Code device or an SMS message.

to connect to the Call Center System.

Input the eight-digit User Number, received upon Registration for the service and afterwards enter also a six-digit one-time password, generated by a U-Code device or an SMS message. Thus your call will be serviced preferentially by our official.

Clients’ authentication with a User Number and a one-time password guarantees fast and secure over-the-phone service. This way for authentication is obligatory for performing financial transactions through UBB’s Call Center.

By pressing main button 0 – for lost or stolen cards - you need to enter your Personal ID Number and connect to an operator, whom you will notify about a lost or stolen bank card.

For UBB Retail Clients

By pressing main button 2 – for Retail Clients - you may choose one of the following options:

Button 1 – If you are a UBB client, utilizing a banking, insurance or investment product
Having entered your Personal ID Number, you will be routed to an operator, who will ask questions to authenticate your client registration and will service you.

Button 2 – If you are a natural person – client of UBB E-banking
Enter your Personal ID Number, after which you will contact a Call Centre official of ours, who will render assistance following your successful personal authentication.

Button 3 – For Utility Bills and Western Union Transfers
You need to enter your Personal ID Number and after connecting to an operator you have to answer the authentication questions. Our officials will render assistance for receipt of either Western Union transfer or payment of utility bills.

By pressing main button 3 – for UBB Corporate Clients - you may choose one of the following options:

Button 1 – if you are a corporate client of E-banking, your call will be routed to our E-banking experts, for asking them questions and obtaining help upon occurred issues.

Button 2 – for clients with UBB Company Cards. Calls will be routed to an on-duty Card Center official.

Button 3 – For merchants with UBB POS terminals. Calls will be routed to an on-duty Card Center official.

The alternatives you have are three:

Button 1 – to inform in English of a lost or stolen card
Button 2 – to access the Call Centre system in the English language
Button 3 – for help and information again upon utilization of banking products
How can I reach either 0700 117 17 or *7171?
  • The 0700 117 17 number can be dialed directly throughout Bulgaria. The call will be charged according to the respective operator’s tariff.
  • The 02 483 1717 number can be dialed from abroad as follows: +3592 483 1717. International calls will be charged according to the respective operator’s tariff.
  • The *7171 number can be dialed only from mobile telephone devices on Bulgaria’s territory. Calls will be charged according to the client’s personal phone plan as a call to the respective mobile network operator.
When can I call 0700 117 17?
  • If you wish to receive information or assistance when using banking or insurance products and services or to perform a transaction, you will receive assistance at our Call Center, Monday to Friday from 08:30 AM to 9:00 PM and on Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
  • Over-the-phone financial transactions may be performed on business days from 08:30 AM until 05:30 PM.
  • The business hours our E-banking experts are:

    • For retail clients: Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM until 8:00 PM and Sunday from 09:00 AM to 6:00 PM
    • For corporate clients: Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM for corporate clients
  • Upon any card problem or in case you want to report a lost/ stolen card after the Call Center’s business hours, the Card Center on duty officials are at your disposal 24/7. You can reach them at 02 980 22 35 (dialed locally) and at +3592 483 1717 (dialed internationally).
