UBB initiates an environment awareness campaign by suspending the sending of paper account statements

date

27 February 2013

Since 1 May this year UBB will suspend the sending of paper statements on movements of accounts with a registered utility bills payment service, by offering clients other alternatives and entirely free-of-charge channels for their receipt:

  • Receipt of a statement at an e-mail address, specified by the client, with an opportunity for registration through the bank’s branches or at tel. 0700 117 17;

  • Statement of account movement in UBB Internet banking;

  • Receipt of a paper statement at the bank’s branches.

Last but not least, being an innovative and customer-oriented bank, UBB will continue to inform its clients with free-of-charge SMS messages for received payment requests and effected payments of utility bills.
