Senior Tax Expert in Reporting, IFRS and Tax methodology Department, Finance Directorate

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform research and prepare tax opinion on tax implications on acquisitions/sales of assets (incl. financial assets and exchange of assets) as well as on launching new products;
• Provide tax opinion on the bank agreements with vendors/clients;
• Assists in review and/or preparation of corporate income tax return;
• Assist in the effective tax rate calculation for the purposes of the new minimum corporate income tax rules (Pillar 2);
• Ensure proper application of tax legislation and in particular Corporate Income tax, VAT and WHT;
• Involvement in KBC Group tax discussions and participation in Group tax projects;
  Participate in preparation of transfer pricing documentation;
• Follow up changes in tax legislation and inform the Management;
• Provide support in communication with tax authorities and effectively communicate with external advisors on specific topic.

REQUIREMENTS:

• University degree in Law, Finance, Accounting or other relevant to the position;
• Relevant tax experience in a consulting company, in-house or tax administration;
• General knowledge of Bulgarian and international (EU and OECD) tax legislation and guidelines;
• Good computer skills – MS Office;
• Excellent command of English is a must (written and spoken);
• Proactive and result driven;
• Team player;
• Able to take responsibility;
• Analytical skills, accuracy and attention to details;
• Able to meet deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks.
