We are seeking a technology leader to head the IT Delivery – Corporate, SME & Payments Products Department.
This is a leadership role with full ownership over the delivery, performance, and operational integrity of applications and IT capabilities supporting the bank’s Corporate, SME, and Payments ecosystems.
You will lead multidisciplinary delivery teams, partner with senior business leaders, and ensure that key technology initiatives are executed with precision, reliability, and strategic alignment. This role requires, strong delivery discipline, and the ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5+ years of senior IT management experience, ideally in banking, financial services, or another highly regulated environment.
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/ Informatics/ Engineering, Mathematics or another appropriate specialty.
- Proven track record of leading large scale technology delivery functions and managing complex multi team delivery ecosystems.
- Deep understanding of the full delivery lifecycle, IT governance, and enterprise grade software operation
- Strong managerial, leadership, analysis, verbal and written communication skills
- Conflict management, stress-resilience and flexibility
- Pro-active attitude, team-oriented and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong problem solving abilities, structured thinking, and resilience in high pressure environments.
- Exceptional leadership skills, enabling the development of high performing, empowered teams.
- Excellent communication skills in English; able to present complex topics clearly and persuasively.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as a trusted technology partner to senior business stakeholders and IT .
• Provide executive oversight across all projects and small initiatives executed by the department, ensuring predictable delivery, transparent reporting, and risk mitigation.
• Establish and maintain strong delivery governance practices, ensuring consistency, quality, and compliance with KBC/UBB standards.
• Ensure end to end operational stability and lifecycle management of applications under the department’s scope, with strict adherence to SLAs and performance targets.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize performance, reliability, and user experience.
• Act as the primary liaison between IT Delivery, Business Units, PMO, and business stakeholders, ensuring coordinated execution of bank wide initiatives.
• Provide timely insights, escalations, and updates to the General Manager of the IT Delivery Directorate.
• Ensure transparent communication practices and a data driven approach to decision making.
