On July 2022 the bank, the lease company, the insurance broker and the asset company within the Group of Raiffeisenbank International in Bulgaria became part of the Belgian financial group KBC.

On ....... the bank, the lease company, the insurance broker and the asset company within the Group of Raiffeisenbank International in Bulgaria became part of the Belgian financial group KBC.   

KBC Group is a successful player on the Bulgarian market for 15 years now.  Part of the financial group in Bulgaria are the companies UBB, DZI, UBB Interlease, UBB Pension Insurance, UBB Insurance Broker EAD, UBB Factoring, UBB Asset Management, while with the acquisition of the companies within the Group of RBI in Bulgaria - now also KBC Bank, KBC Leasing, KBC Insurance Broker and KBC Investments Management.

In the next months we will witness the merger of the companies within the group having identical activity:

KBC Bank and UBB,

KBC Leasing and UBB Interlease,

KBC Insurance Broker and UBB Insurance Broker

KBC Investments Management and UBB Asset Management

Until the end of the consolidation process they will continue operating as separate legal entities.   Meanwhile, clients will continue being rendered the same high level of services as until now and will be notified in advance and in compliance with the legal requirements for all actions they need to initiate.

The terms and conditions of the products and services, used by the clients of all these companies, will not change.

There is no need for the clients of UBB, UBB Interlease, UBB Insurance Broker and UBB Asset Management to take any actions linked to the forthcoming merger of the companies.

Do my relations with the Bank and/or the other companies within the Group as a client continue to be in force?

Yes, your relations as a client of the Bank and/or of the other companies within the Group continue to be in force, as negotiated in your agreement with us. Your agreement with our Bank remains unchanged. The satisfaction and the well-being of our clients continue to be our top priority. We will continue rendering services of excellent quality, tailored to our clients’ expectations.

Will there be a change to the terms and conditions of my agreement with the Bank and/or its subsidiaries?

The terms and conditions of your agreement with the Bank and/or its subsidiaries will not change.

Should there be any new parameters under the products, used by you, you will be notified timely, as defined in your agreement with the Bank.

Do I need to re-sign my agreement with the Bank or with another company within the Group?

No, there is no need to re-sign your agreement with the Bank or with another company within the Group

Do I need to take any actions to continue using my bank account, bank card, mobile banking, or e-banking the way I used to?

No, you do not need to take any actions. The products and services, used by you with the bank, remain unchanged. The mobile banking and online banking retain their functionalities. In case of any future change you will be informed in advance via the selected contact channel, as provided for in the Bulgarian legislation.

Will my servicing office change?

No, the office servicing you will remain the same. If changed, we will give you a timely notice. In case of potential changes to the structure of branch/office network you can obtain information from the corporate website of the relevant company.

Will it be possible for UBB clients to be serviced in a KBC Bank branch and vice versa?

No, at this stage the clients of each of the two banks and their subsidiaries will be serviced only at the branches of the company they have signed an agreement with.
