In a sealed envelope, sent by registered mail, couriered or handed at the addresses of the territorial units of the Intermediate Body – Bulgarian Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Promotion Agency in Blagoevgrad, Bourgas, Varna, Veliko Tarnovo, Vratza, Pleven, Plovdiv, Rousse, Sofia, Stara Zagora towns

Advance payment (optional) – up to 20% of the approved financial aid against presentation of a bank guarantee

Undertakings, which:

are legal entities or sole proprietors, non-profit legal entities, higher-education facilities, Bulgarian Academy of Science, Academy of Agriculture, experimental laboratories, Institutes and scientific research organizations which
have a registered office in Bulgaria and
are directly responsible for the implementation of the activities under the project
are not enterprises in difficulties*

Acquisition of investment projects
Execution of construction and assembly works in case of a substantive right over the site, subject to the construction and assembly works
Purchase of an office and specialized equipment

Services, administrative and operational activities

Creating an internet website
Providing the necessary personnel for the implementation of the operational activities of the supported offices
Providing the resources for the operational activities of the Technology Transfer Offices
Preparation of technical, financial and economic assessments and appraisals of the intellectual property of innovative products, processes and services
Services related to optimization of production technologies and, respectively, for creating or selling a specific innovative product, process or service
Consulting or legal services, related to protection of the intellectual property rights of innovative products, processes or services
Developing business and marketing strategies for market sale of specific innovative products, processes or services · Consulting services of an engineering or technical nature related to the process of launching innovative products, processes or services
Holding meetings and events for presenting innovative developments before enterprises
Participation in business forums, seminars, conferences, fairs, exhibitions, etc. related to the activities of the Technology Transfer Offices
Popularization of the activities of the Technology Transfer Offices
Participation in international and national networks of Technology Transfer Offices
Consulting services for the preparation of the project proposal under the present procedure – up to 5% of the total admissible expenses under the project but not more than BGN 10 000

The maximum intensity under “Services” Element shall not exceed 70% of the total amount of the admissible expenses.

*An enterprise in difficulties is such, which:

a) Initially registered capital has decreased by more than a half and more than one fourth of this capital has been lost over the previous twelve months;

b) The enterprise is an unlimited liability company, which capital, as written in the enterprise balance sheet, has decreased by more than a half and more than one fourth of this capital has been lost over the previous twelve months;

c) Meets the local legislation criteria for becoming a subject of procedures for declaring bankruptcy. In the cases when the candidate is a micro, small and medium-sized enterprise, registered not earlier than three years ago, it shall not be considered an enterprise in difficulties with regard to that period, unless it meets the conditions described in letter c).
